Playing without an account
You can play Neonrush without giving us anything. Your best percentage, your attempts and any levels you build are kept in your own browser's local storage on your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.
What we store if you sign in
- Your email address, used to sign you in and recover your account.
- Your chosen username, shown publicly on leaderboards.
- Your results per level: best percentage, best completion time and when it was set.
- Levels you save to your account, including their name and difficulty.
If you sign in with Google, we receive only your email address and basic profile information from Google — never your Google password.
What is public
Your username, scores and published levels are visible to other players. Your email address is never shown publicly.
Why we store it
Only to run the game: to keep you signed in, to save your progress across devices, to rank runs on the leaderboards and to let others play the levels you publish. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and similar storage
We use local browser storage and a sign-in cookie so your session and settings persist. These are needed for the game to work; we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Where it is stored
Accounts, scores and levels are stored on our hosting and database provider's servers on our behalf. They may process this data only to provide that service.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account we remove your profile, scores and levels, other than anything we must keep by law.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account and everything linked to it deleted. Write to hello@thedmproduction.com and we will action it.
Children
Neonrush is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will remove the account.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
